One of Ukwakha Isizwe’s main initiatives is the Early Childhood Development Centres, also known as Pebbles Nursery Schools. We ensure that all the schools use the CAPS system, as this is the same system that the local primary schools utilise, ensuring a smooth transition to Grade 1. Pebbles Nursery School in Klopperpark has up to 70 children a year and Primrose Pebbles has 31 children a year which belongs to our B-BBEE recognised partner organisation Sukuma Foundation. We are in the process of opening our third Pebbles Nursery School which we are working hard to have up and running by the third term of this year. Due to the restrictions of the site, Pebbles Maboneng will start with only 20 students and 4 staff members. The only advice I have for people who have problems with falling asleep and those who wake up several times a night: don’t suffer – take Ambien. I’ve checked them myself. These tablets make me fall asleep in about 5 – 10 minutes. I’m taking the lower, 5 mg dose, but I’m satisfied with the effect of ambien. Oh, I’ve never had any side effects, so it’s safe too.
