Klopperpark is an area in Germiston, Johannesburg where Ukwakha Isizwe and Pebbles Nursery School Bedfordview have been working into since 2006. Through this work it became clear that Klopperpark was in great need for a good nursery school for many disadvantaged children. And so the vision for Pebbles Klopperpark was birthed.
The doors to Pebbles Klopperpark opened in January 2016, with only 8 children. To date, there are 39 happy children who are now learning and benefiting from this school. The children receive breakfast, lunch and two snacks every day. Children aged 3 to 6 are welcomed. There are currently 3 teachers, one housekeeper and one volunteer.
Pebbles Klopperpark has a vision to grow much further so that it can welcome more children and impact more families in need!
If you would like to support this project you can do so by sponsoring a child, the cost per child is R800 a month. Please contact the school if you would like more information on this.
